Date: Tuesday, May 31, 2011 Time: 1:41 AM graduation  And so it happened..the official graduation after three years in FSV! Not everybody managed to make it for the group photo above but most of us were there. Will there be another time where all of us or most of us take a photo like that again? Graduation day was a..happy day!! Initially, it seemed kind of peaceful but things really start to get happening when everybody started going around taking photos. Our ceremony was considered short as it only last about..an hour and a half? We should be the few faculties which has the least people. There's this quote from the ceremony which goes something like "we've all spent time rushing deadlines, countless of times we've been hitting that 5pm deadline and today, this is our 5pm."And guess what? It was exactly 5pm (or close to, by a few minutes or seconds) when she said that line. The feeling was..I don't know how to describe. It felt as if something dawned on you. I've yet to take my own photos of the graduation bear and scroll box. Shall upload photos that were taken by friends..I realised that I did not use my digicam at all, ended up using friend's cameras and I don't have all the high-rest photos..  Sheryl! We went on the Hong Kong Media Study Trip together. Many things happened - there were times where we thought we were annoyed with each other when we should've just spoken to clear the doubts! Nonetheless, I'm glad we ended up clearing up the misunderstandings we had then, and it was an enjoyable trip =) I remember us watching the movies in the hotel room's tv, and there was this movie with Leslie acting as a student, us complaining about the hotel's service and much more! Shopping, eating and hanging out with the seniors..the whole experience of being in HK was something very, very meaningful..  Mono no aware That's the magical term from Regional Cinema class! When we were about to leave, and a little disappointed that Mr. Adrian Lim wasn't around as we wanted to take a photo with him..he appeared!  Esther Lork who lurrves Ron and TVB! I had a lot of fun with you. It's funny how some friendships can sprout from a tiny little bean..and sometimes you wonder when did you planted the little beans. Anyway, I'm really glad another TVB fan exists during my batch, hahahahahahah!!  Ng Mun! Inside the FCP room staring at CITYVILLE on the huge LCD screen..thanks for getting me into the game. And the times we shared during Post Production class and many more and remember..KUEH NOT IN!! If u ever view this blogpost, LOL. And I just went to post that phrase on her Wall!  Mr. Lau Chee Meng! A very respectable lecturer and I'm glad I met him. I remember during official last day of school he was in the FCP room asking me about 《刑警》。(oh, and I dreamt about Michael Miu the day before!) He made me learn more than just AFP, adds a whole new meaning to what I have been exposed to. I really appreciate Chee Meng. Oh, and he's a TVB watcher too!! During my IBP, I met another person who brought back a definition that I had and nearly lost it because of the various people I've been meeting throughout the years. I truly respect him, he's a veteran and we were such..I don't have a word for it. Mr. 有誰共鳴, shall I call him that? Haha..I doubt he will ever come across this post. Okay, to add on I actually met several more people during the FSV journey that enhanced my life. There were ups and downs and I don't know what else is going to happen..  Zong Ling! We both like Tony Leung Chiu Wai and Wong Kar Wai! And Johnny Depp too! Sorry that we ended up not watching The Lost Bladesman together but we're gonna catch Jack Sparrow, right? =D I'm not sure how my friendship with her actually started..but I'm glad it happened =)  Michelle, the Luo Zhi Xiang fan! She likes to laugh and giggle and eat laksa yong tau foo! May Potong Pasir have more lift upgrades..lol.  Kylene from MCM that I met in CATS class! We were like "we should take a photo!" when we randomly bumped into each other at the photo ordering booth! Though we only met for that class, we are kinda good friends =D  Charmaine! A big Thank you for helping me take so many photos that day.. I met her on a forum hahahahahaha..we weren't in the same class except for that horrendous UFS module..  Zoe-ann! I never really talked a lot to her, or worked with her except maybe for Perspectives of China class but it felt like I could talk to her somehow.. I guess, that's most of the photos..not sure if I left out any, haven't really got to sorting them out! And I needa find the high-res for those that I can contact.. I should upload the graduation bear photo soon! It's adorable.. |

Date: Tuesday, May 10, 2011 Time: 8:40 PM 魅力四色男主角新加坡演唱会 － 签名会 (City Square Mall)  I have too many pics from this session to upload them all onto blogger, haha. Have done so on fb! Anyway, here's to share the day's experience on the signature session.. I went to queue at City Square Mall quite early, met a few other fellow fans who were there and some of them spoke to me, even met a sec sch classmate who was accompanying her friend! Waited or hours..and there wasn't wifi connection! Or maybe, my phone just don't support the connection there.. The 4 of them came quite on time! They played games with some of the audience and gave out prizes. It really feels quite different when they finally appear, haha. Aww, and Moses Chan GAVE ME A CHARMING SMILE when I went on stage to let him sign the poster! alright..shall talk about the concert soon.. |

Had to queue for close to ..45 minutes? Not to mention the smell of the teppanyaki coming from the restaurant nearby was so..alluring. Anyway, it was worth the queue!! Words cannot be used to describe the awesomeness of the place and its food, photos shall do the talk!  spices in a basket :) Their menu is contained inside a leather cover, adds to its vintage & homely feel. That's what I meant by the homely feel. Besides its furniture and tablecloth, the restaurant was designed (at least the part where I sat was) as a kitchen area. That's the kitchen sink in shot! Gratin with Prawn and ScallopThe cheese is so soft that it melts in your mouth almost immediately! Best to eat when it's hot and btw, there's a huge scallop in the middle! It's certainly a delicious dish I've tasted in a long time, and I'm longing to try it again!  something sort of an artistic shot i've taken, haha. PaellaScallop, mussels..it's another fabulous dish. I have to say at this point of time, I was quite full from the cheese (in the previous dish) already. Nonetheless, this shouldn't be missed. Enjoy a few more pictures of the same dish below..    Chef's PizzaHad this sort of, soy sauce taste to it. Tastes good, better than pizza hut's though I haven't try a lot of pizza hut's pizza. I rate this place 4.9/5. (i was too full for dessert, what a pity..) |

i went kite flying today (or rather, yesterday) with Charmaine at Marina Barrage! we met at Carrefour@Suntec, the biscuits and tidbits sections were kinda pathetic, so end up we didn't buy a lot of stuff for a 'picnic'. which wasn't so bad after all because of "something" uncalled for that happen. this will be revealed as i go on.. after that, we went to tapau pepper lunch to go marina barrage and eat =DD i wonder who else will do that, hahahaha. went back to City Hall to take train to Marina Bay, and waited for Shuttle Bus to come.. finally, we reached! went to the shop and bought a kite! alright, they sell the string and the "thing you use to control" separately. then we went up the "structure" and "camped" at the slope part. surprisingly, our kite took off in less than a minute!! we've never flew a kite before this.. so we took turns on the wheel, pulling strings etc. until, the kite we named "Bob" started plummeting, going lower n lower..and guess what, it was going towards the pool/fountain area! and we began pulling it back. we realised the reason for the loss of control was that the wheel stopped functioning properly we couldn't wind string back by turning it. it was loose somewhere, and we had to keep pulling strings back.. and so, Bob dropped and we both felt he was gonna get into the water! gosh, and guess what..he got stuck between the middle of the glass panels that acted as a barrier to the water. so Charmaine went down to save Bob. and i wondered why she took a long time..but when she came back, she told me that a certain guard actually told her that if the kite fell into the sea, (it was a sea, not just a pool of water) it will flow out into the main sea blah blah and more blah blah. he said he was only advising her because ultimately, the kite din fell into the water. but strangely, he still asked to take down her Name and IC. and we spent like more than an hour trying to untangle the strings. these were all uncalled for.. after a long time untangling the strings..we decided to just buy a new wheel before sunset. we still have a little bit of fun trying to set Bob high again, he didn't really went that high but he still flew. a man walked by sometime later and said "oh, it's flying!". another pair of guys walked down the slope and asked us how much does it costs.. alright, we flew kite till almost evening..it was getting darker and we decided to leave for dinner.. walked towards the flyer, glimpsed at the casino inside Sands for awhile.. this was quite an enjoyable day, except for the little incident.. i shall remind myself to post photos and blog about JB trip soon! |

in the dream: he was at some function, and kelly chen was there as well as several other artiste. seems like zhen xiao yan was there too.. they talked and sang on stage, and later they went down to some place and sang a full song together. after that, each artiste sort of paired up themselves, and sang different verses. donnie paired up with kelly and they sang together the last part(s) of the song and he even went into a shop and got a staff there to join in, very friendly. after that, the whole function kind of ended and there i was, near him. beside me was chunz, who was taking some pictures. so, i plucked up the courage to ask him if i could take a photo with him and he agreed! and we took very long, dunno what happened but it was either the camera couldn't focus or it was too dark, and we had to move around, all the while in a "posed position" where he was already smiling and have his arm around my shoulder that kind. and the camera was funny too, i could like see and LCD screen facing me while chunz tried to get the angle, and it showed a shopping mall layout. well, when i tot the lcd screen shd be facing the other way and there should be a lens facing us, i tot it's those kind of small lenses like in handphones, and the lcd screen point both ways hahahahah.and all the while donnie was similing! but end up, before any picture was taken, i woke up. nonetheless, it was still..nice. =) |
